What are HA Fillers?
Juvederm and Restylane are hyaluronic acid fillers suspended in a gel carrier. This gel helps the injection of hyaluronic Acid stay in its place. The hyaluronic acid works immediately by pulling in water, therefore, increasing the volume where injected. This is great for moderate to deeper wrinkles and folds of the face or areas where more volume is desired like cheeks or lips. These fillers dissolve easily and last for up to a year.
Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. Sculptra, a biostimulatory injectable made of poly-L–lactic acid, helps gradually restore facial volume. When injected it stimulates your own skin's natural ability to produce collagen slowly over time. The poly-L-lactic acids is gradually biodegraded over several months and replaced by a network of new collagen. Treatment areas may include, temples, cheeks, nasolabial folds, and jawline. In the beginning, most people will need three treatments spread over several months. Then they may only require one treatment every year. Results can last more than two years!
What is Kybella?
Kybella can be used to permanently remove fat cells. One to five Kybella vials may be required depending on the amount of fat. Multiple sessions may be required.
