What are HA Fillers and how do they work?
Juvederm, Restylane and other hyaluronic acids fillers are suspended in a gel carrier. This gel helps the hyaluronic acid stay in place where injected. The hyaluronic- acid immediately pulls in water. In this way, it increases volume. This is a great option for wrinkles, deep folds and other areas that need more volume such as cheeks and lips. These fillers dissolve naturally with most lasting at least a year. Others may last longer.
