What are HA fillers?
Juvederm and Restylane, hyaluronic Acid fillers, are suspended within a gel carrier. This gel allows the hyaluronic acids to stay in place when injected. The hyaluronic acid works immediately by pulling in water, therefore, increasing the volume where injected. This is great for deep wrinkles and folds on the face, as well as areas that require more volume like the cheeks or lips. These fillers dissolve naturally with most lasting at least a year. Others may last longer.
Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. What are Neurotoxins and how can they be avoided?
Botox or Dysport can temporarily improve the appearance wrinkles and fine lines with injectable neurotoxins. Repetitive muscle contractions can cause facial lines and wrinkles to form and get deeper over time. Botox and Dysport will weaken these muscle contractions temporarily leaving the skin visibly smoother.
Common areas of treatment include forehead, frown lines, crows' feet, and the chin. The results can be seen in a few days, but they will improve over the next two weeks. If the dose is correct, results can last up to four weeks.
What is Sculptra, exactly?
Sculptra injectable is a bio stimulatory injection made from poly-L lactic acid. It gradually restores facial volume. When injected, it stimulates your skin's natural ability gradually to make collagen. The poly-L-lactic acids is gradually biodegraded over several months and replaced by a network of new collagen. Treatment areas can include the jawline and temples. Most initially will require three treatments over a couple of months and then just one treatment annually. Your results may last for more than two years.
What is Kybella exactly?
Kybella, an injectable treatment approved for permanently eliminating fat cells, is available. Depending upon the amount of fat present, up to five vials (or more) of Kybella might be required during one treatment session. Sometimes multiple sessions are necessary. The most common area to be treated is the submental, also known by the 'double-chin'. Treatments can stop once a desired aesthetic goal has been reached.

What is Dermaplane, exactly?
Dermaplaning uses a medical-grade surgical blade to remove the surface layer of dead skin, debris, and hair. A single dermaplaning session is able to remove around 2-3 weeks of built-up dead skin cells and debris from your skin. Dermplane does not require any pain and is non-invasive. The technique may look similar to shaving, but it is much more effective because the blade being used is able to get right against the top layer of skin. There's no reason to be concerned about your hair becoming darker. Dermaplaning works on the vellus (peach fuzz), and the hair grows back exactly the same size. A surgical blade does not give the illusion of thicker hair. This treatment does not require downtime.
