What are HA Fillers?
Juvederm or Restylane are hyaluronic fillers that are suspended in gel carriers. This gel helps the injectable hyaluronic to remain in place. The hyaluronic Acid immediately draws in water to increase the volume of the area where it is injected. This is ideal for areas with more volume, such as cheeks or lips, or wrinkles that are deeper or more prominent. These fillers are dissolved naturally with most lasting up to a year and some even longer.
Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. What are Neurotoxins and how can they be avoided?
Botox
and Dysport are injectable neurotoxins which can temporarily improve wrinkle appearance. Repeated muscle contractions can result in facial lines and wrinkles becoming deeper and more severe over time. Botox and Dysport will weaken these muscle contractions temporarily leaving the skin visibly smoother.
The forehead, frown lines and crows feet are all common areas for treatment. While results may be visible within a few days of treatment, the process will take two weeks to complete. You can expect to see results for as long as four months, if you do the right dosage.
What is Sculptra exactly?
Sculptra is a bio stimulatory injectable comprised of poly-L-lactic acid that helps to restore facial volume gradually. It stimulates the natural production of collagen in your skin by slowly injecting it. Over time, the poly-L lactic acid is biodegraded to create a new meshwork of collagen. The treatment areas include the jawline, cheeks and nasolabial folds. Most initially will require three treatments over a couple of months and then just one treatment annually. You can expect to see results for up to two years.
What is Kybella?
Kybella is an injection that can permanently destroy fat cells. One to five Kybella vials may be required depending on the amount of fat. Multiple sessions may be required. The most common area of treatment is the submental fat otherwise known as a 'double chin'. Once a desired aesthetic goal is achieved, treatments can be stopped.

What is Dermaplane?
Dermaplaning removes the top layer of dead skin, hair, and debris using a medical-grade surgical knife. A single session can remove about 2-3 weeks worth of built up dead skin cells or debris. Dermplane is completely painless and non-invasive. While the technique looks like shaving, it's much more effective than that because the blade used is able reach right up against the skin's top layer. The hair does not get darker as dermaplaning is designed to target the vellus hair, also known as peach fuzz. It will grow back the same color and size. A surgical blade does not give the illusion of thicker hair. There is no downtime with this treatment.
