What are HA fillers, exactly?
Juvederm is a hyaluronic-acid filler suspended in a gel. Restylane is also known as Restylane. This gel keeps the hyaluronic ag in place. The hyaluronic Acid immediately draws in water to increase the volume of the area where it is injected. This is great for deep wrinkles and folds on the face, as well as areas that require more volume like the cheeks or lips. These fillers dissolve naturally with most lasting at least a year. Others may last longer.

Over several months, the poly-L-lactic acid is biodegraded and replaced with a meshwork of new collagen. The treatment areas include the jawline, cheeks and nasolabial folds.
