What are HA Fillers?
Juvederm and Restylane, hyaluronic Acid fillers, are suspended within a gel carrier. This gel keeps the hyaluronic ag in place. The hyaluronic Acid immediately draws in water to increase the volume of the area where it is injected. This works well for deeper to more severe wrinkles, folds, and areas of the face where more volume is needed. These fillers are dissolved naturally with most lasting up to a year and some even longer.
Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. [1] Traditionally, it includes dermatology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, reconstructive surgery and plastic surgery,[2] surgical procedures (liposuction, facelifts, breast implants, Radio frequency ablation), non-surgical procedures (radio frequency skin tightening, non- surgical liposuction, chemical peel, high-intensity focused electromagnetic field, radio frequency fat removal), and a combination of both.[3] Aesthetic medicine procedures are usually elective.[4]

Kansas City (abbreviated KC or KCMO) is the largest city in Missouri by population and area. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 508,090 in 2020,[6] making it the 36th most-populous city in the United States. It is the most populated municipality of the Kansas City metropolitan area, which straddles the Kansas–Missouri state line and has a population of 2,392,035.[7][2] The city borders Johnson County and Kansas City, Kansas (Wyandotte County) in Kansas. Most of the city lies within Jackson County, with portions spilling into Clay, Cass, and Platte counties. Kansas City was founded in the 1830s as a port on the Missouri River at its confluence with the Kansas River coming in from the west. On June 1, 1850, the town of Kansas was incorporated; shortly after came the establishment of the Kansas Territory. Confusion between the two ensued, and the name Kansas City was assigned to distinguish them soon after.
Sitting on Missouri's western boundary with Kansas, with Downtown near the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri Rivers, the city encompasses about 319.03 square miles (826.3 km2), making it the 23rd largest city by total area in the United States. It serves as one of the two county seats of Jackson County, along with the major suburb of Independence. Other major suburbs include the Missouri cities of Blue Springs and Lee's Summit and the Kansas cities of Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa, and Kansas City, Kansas.
The city is composed of several neighborhoods, including the River Market District in the north, the 18th and Vine District in the east, and the Country Club Plaza in the south. Celebrated cultural traditions include Kansas City jazz; theater, as a center of the Vaudevillian Orpheum circuit in the 1920s; the Chiefs and Royals sports franchises; and famous cuisine based on Kansas City-style barbecue, Kansas City strip steak, and craft breweries.
There are many options for HA Fillers. For subtle to dramatic enhancements, we've used both Restylane HA Fillers and Juvederm. More options and customized results.
What are Neurotoxins?
Botox and Dysport, injectable neurotoxins, can temporarily reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Repetitive muscle contractions can cause facial lines and wrinkles to form and get deeper over time. Botox or Dysport temporarily weakens these muscle contractions, making the skin appear smoother.
Common treatment areas include the forehead, frown lines, and crows feet. You can see results in as little as two days. However, they will gradually improve over two weeks. The effects of the treatment can last for up to four months if administered correctly.
What is sculpture?
Sculptra, a biostimulatory injectable made of poly-L–lactic acid, helps gradually restore facial volume. When injected, it stimulates your skin's natural ability gradually to make collagen. The polylactic acid will be biodegraded, and replaced with a network of new collagen after several months. The areas that may be treated include the temples, cheeks or nasolabialfolds as well as the jawline. In the beginning, most people will need three treatments spread over several months. Then they may only require one treatment every year. Your results may last for more than two years.
What is Kybella?
Kybella can be used to permanently remove fat cells. Depending upon the amount of fat present, up to five vials (or more) of Kybella might be required during one treatment session. Sometimes multiple sessions are necessary. Submental fat, also known as the 'double chin', is the most common area for treatment. Once a desired aesthetic goal is achieved, treatments can be stopped.
What is a Vitamin B-12 Shot and how do you use it?
Vitamin B-12 is an essential vitamin that our body requires in order to function properly. This injection may help with increasing energy levels, improving fatigue, speeding up metabolism, improving sleep patterns, increasing concentration, improving mood, and boosting the immune system to name a few.
What is HydraFacial exactly?
HydraFacial is a revolutionary treatment that addresses all your skincare needs.
HydraFacial's super serums have nourishing ingredients that instantly give you a glowing complexion in just a few seconds.
The first step involves gentle exfoliation to remove dead skin cells and reveal new layers. The skin is then treated with a mild chemical peel to improve its surface and prepare for painless removals. Next, debris is removed from the pores using painless suction while nourishing the skin. To increase the skin's glow, antioxidants are instilled into the skin. The best thing is that there is no downtime.
What is Dermaplane?
Dermaplaning uses a surgical-grade blade that is medical-grade to remove the skin's surface layer of dead cells, debris, and hair. A single dermaplaning session is able to remove around 2-3 weeks of built-up dead skin cells and debris from your skin. Dermplane has no side effects and is completely painless. The technique may look similar to shaving, but it is much more effective because the blade being used is able to get right against the top layer of skin. There's no reason to be concerned about your hair becoming darker. Dermaplaning works on the vellus (peach fuzz), and the hair grows back exactly the same size. In addition, the way the surgical blade cuts the hair does not create the illusion of thicker hair. This treatment does not require downtime.
What is a Chemical Peel?
A chemical peel is a treatment where a chemical solution is applied to the skin to remove the top layers of the dermis. Chemical peels can help improve the skin's texture as well as radiance. Chemical peels come in superficial, medium, and deep strengths. Your concerns and the type of peel you select will determine how much improvement your skin receives. For most, multiple treatments are recommended to achieve the best results.
What is Clear + Brilliant Laser exactly?
Clear + Brilliant laser is based upon advanced technology. Clear + Brilliant treatment is easy. All treatments begin with a consultation with your skincare practitioner to see if Clear + Brilliant is right for you - and to pinpoint some of the key trouble spots it can help address. Your practitioner will then recommend a Clear+ Brilliant Laser treatment plan. You have two options to choose from to address skin texture issues, such as fine lines/wrinkles or poor size or brown spot.
What is an Insta-Glo Facial?
Insta-Glo Facials are guaranteed to leave your skin glowing for many days. It is a combination of a customized ampoule and a customized HydroJelly masque that are suitable to address your skin concerns and needs.
The skin must be cleansed and exfoliated first. The ampoule is then applied and infused into the skin with our Nano Infusion Pen. The HydroJelly masque can then be applied. Finally, the correct products are applied to your skin. This treatment has little to no downtime.
These are some highly rated medical spas in Kansas City, MO:
This is a review for medical spas in Kansas City, MO:
"I've been to about a dozen different medical spas and plastic surgery offices across the country, and this one has been my absolute favorite so far. Great customer service, very knowledgeable staff, good products and incredible prices. I was paying almost $100 more for a single chemical peel/hydrafacial at other medical spas and still wasn't getting the results I got from visiting Mia Bella. Not only are the estheticians friendly and thorough, but they take their time on your procedures (low light, relaxing music) and really make a practical, result-driven procedure feel like a trip to the spa. Oh, and I received derma planning at the beginning of each procedure for no extra cost (typically a $50 charge at other places)"
The truth is it depends. If you are buying from a reputable dealer, they will typically have standardized pricing and occasionally have a promotion or sale. Other times, you may be able to negotiate add-ons or additional features.
