The Wyeth - Tootle Manor, at 11th and Charles sts., is a historical mansion. William M. Wyeth constructed it in 1879. The Gothic design was created by Eckel and Mann Architects. They had travelled extensively throughout Europe to gather ideas and build the mansion which was completed in 1883. The Tootles owned the house from 1887 until it was sold.
The mansion has three floors, and a tower. There are more than 40 rooms inside the house. Beautiful woodwork and imported stained glasses are some of the interior's highlights. Visitors can also experience life in the late nineteenth century. The Wyeth–Tootle Mansion can be found near St. Joseph in Missouri.
