The Wyeth - Tootle Manor, at 11th and Charles sts., is a historical mansion. Built in 1879 by William M. Wyeth, it was designed by Mann Architects in Gothic style. They had travelled extensively throughout Europe to gather ideas and build the mansion which was completed in 1883. The Tootles lived here until 1887, when the property was sold.
The mansion has three floors, and a tower. The house contains more than 40 rooms. Beautiful woodwork and imported stained glasses are some of the interior's highlights. You can experience life in the late 19th-century. The Wyeths-Tootle Mansion, located in downtown St. Joseph is a great place to visit.
