The Wyeth - Tootle Manor, at 11th and Charles sts., is a historical mansion. Built in 1879 by William M. Wyeth, it was designed by Mann Architects in Gothic style. They had travelled extensively throughout Europe to gather ideas and build the mansion which was completed in 1883. The Tootles lived there until 1887 when it was sold.
The mansion includes three floors and one tower. The house boasts more than 40 bedrooms. Beautiful woodwork and imported stained glasses are some of the interior's highlights. He also served the presidency of the St. Joseph Hardware Company.
