The Wyeth - Tootle Manor, at 11th and Charles sts., is a historical mansion. William M. Wyeth constructed it in 1879. The Gothic design was created by Eckel and Mann Architects. They had travelled extensively throughout Europe to gather ideas and build the mansion which was completed in 1883. The Tootles owned the house from 1887 until it was sold.
The mansion consists of three floors and a tower. The house boasts more than 40 bedrooms. Beautiful woodwork and imported stained glasses are some of the interior's highlights.
