Search snapshots

You can browse for Cloud Snapshot Manager snapshots and snapshots that are not taken by Cloud Snapshot Manager (referred to as Non-CSM snapshots) in the Snapshots page.

You can search the snapshots by Resource and Protection plan based on the type of account, that is, AWS, Azure and GCP.

AWS

AWS has two options for searching snapshots. You can search the CSM and non-CSM snapshots by Resource or Protection plan.

CSM: Search by Resource

Resource Type

You can search for CSM snapshots based on the resource type.

Region

You can search for CSM snapshots available in all regions or a specific region. For Cloud Snapshot Manager snapshots, when you load the filter, the Cloud Snapshot Manager portal lists the resources and the total number of snapshots that match the parameters.

You can click the number in the Total Snapshots column of a resource to view snapshots for that resource. You can also view details (including the snapshot ID) of each snapshot.

Date

You can filter the snapshots by date.

Azure

You can search for Azure-related CSM snapshots by Resource or Protection plan. Non-CSM snapshots are not supported for Azure. The Non-CSM snapshots are only applicable to AWS.

	Resource Type	You can search for CSM snapshots based on the resource type.

	Resource Name	You can filter the snapshots by resource name.
	Date	You can filter the snaps by date.
	Tags	Use if tag names and values give you better search results.
Search by Protection Plan		It allows you to search for CSM snapshots based on the protection plan.

GCP

You can search for GCP-related CSM snapshots by Resource or Protection plan. Non-CSM snapshots are not supported for GCP. The Non-CSM snapshots are only applicable to AWS.

Search by Protection Plan		It allows you to search for CSM snapshots by selecting a protection plan - If you include a protection plan when you load the filter, the portal lists the protection plan runs and snapshots for that protection plan.
