In the Snapshots page, you can manage snapshots that Cloud Snapshot Manager creates, with options:
Restore from a snapshot
Cloud Snapshot Manager enables you to easily restore from snapshots including the configuration settings to any region in which a copy of the snapshot exists.
File level recovery from a VM or a volume snapshot
File Level Recovery (FLR) in Cloud Snapshot Manager provides the capability to restore files from VM and volume snapshots.

To automate mounting of volumes, SSM must be enabled on the instances that they are attached to. For more information about SSM and how it helps automating in AWS, see AWS SSM.
If SSM is enabled in your environment, see CSM SSM requirements for AWS to review the requirements.
If SSM is not enabled, Cloud Snapshot Manager can still attach and detach volumes automatically, but the mounting of volumes must be done manually. Mounting of Volumes must also be with read-only permission. For more information, see Manually mount Volumes for file level recovery.
